New Beginnings

My favorite tree from Venezuela!

Araguaney from Venezuela!

“The Dept. would like to extend an offer …” the TN director excitably articulated over the phone. I was startled at first although I knew in my heart then, the career opportunity was a divine appointment.

Two months prior to the unplanned interview, my dad went home with the Lord. He courageously endured a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and Dementia. I was overwhelmed with sorrow and faced multiple, unresolved family affairs.

I do know for a fact, the Lord does not give you more than you can handle!

In Christ, anything is possible (Matt.19:26).  Prayerfully, I accepted the new leadership position both at the Dept. and collaborated on family affairs one day at a time…

One step at a time, one task at a time, one day at a time!

How did I know ‘how to’ proceed?

I faithfully read His Word at sunrise, and prayed for inner strength, wisdom and hope.  He will never leave you nor forsake you in the midst of confusion, turmoil, and sorrow. (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV)

A new season began to unfold indeed.

God orchestrated all circumstances in a timely fashion. His time is perfect without a doubt!
