A Fragrant Aroma.

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.”

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 1:15-18

“…and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” Ephesians 5:2

“But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.” Philippians 4:18

Lord,
I am your beloved daughter for such a time as this…
Allow Your fragrance to spread among those who are either lukewarm, in darkness or even lost.
Help me speak Your truth in love and glorify Your name.
Break down all Your teachings so I understand them clearly.
Show me ‘how to’ be obedient.
Help me take ungodly thoughts captive so I can surrender these negative thoughts at the feet of the Cross.
I want to be a slave of righteousness, walk in love, share Your wisdom to those who are in desperately need, and always maintain a fragrant aroma.

In Jesus’ name, I boldly pray. Amen
