“Make vows to the Lord your
God and fulfill them;
Let all who are around
Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared.”
Psalm 76:11
“When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?” Ecclesiastes 5:4-6
“And many were bringing gifts to the Lord at Jerusalem and choice presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.” 2 Chronicles 32:23
Lord,
Help me keep all commitments. When I am fatigued, help me stay alert and focused at all times. When I am overwhelmed, help me get enough rest for the challenge at hand.
I want to serve others as best as I can. I want to share all of my gifts with the world.
I will share my talents and skills so others will benefit. I was fearfully and wonderfully made by You so I may serve one day at a time on your behalf.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
