A New Song

A New Song

“But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness;

My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

I will sing to the Lord because He has dealt bountifully with me.”

Psalm 13:5-6

“Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord, all the earth.

Sing to the Lord, bless His name;

Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.”

Psalm 96:1-2

“Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;

Yes, our God is compassionate. The Lord preserves the simple;

I was brought low, and He saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul,

For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. You have rescued my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.

I shall walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”

Psalm 116:5-9

Lord,

I’m so glad I am trusting in You alone.

My heart rejoices when I surrender my plans and seek Your face

for comfort, strength, and wisdom.

I am blessed when I walk in Your presence.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your grace, lovingkindness and unfailing compassion.

You have protected and preserved my life so I may shout to the world a new song.

You rescued me from death and offered me eternal life. How much can I ask?

I am chosen, redeemed and a new creation in Christ.

In Jesus’ name, I boldly and loudly praise His tunes.

Amen.

His Precepts

“How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord who walks in His ways.” Psalm 128:1

 “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither. And in whatever he does, he prospers.” Psalm 1:3

“Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God” Psalm 92:13

“The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Now his master saw that the Lord was with him and how the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hand.” Genesis 39:2-3

Lord,

You are the wisest Counselor.

You are the King of Kings.

As I meditate on Your Word day and night, I want to stand firmly on solid grounds, build character and help me flourish one day at a time. I will capture every one of Your precepts in my heart and live out in obedience for the rest of my life. Walk with me, Lord, just like You were with Joseph thousands years ago both in dire moments as well as in his most prosperous season.

Take the lead, Lord. I surrender my life.

In Jesus’ name, I courageously pray.

Amen.
