Share His Gifts

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;
Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared.”
Psalm 76:11

“When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?” Ecclesiastes 5:4-6

“And many were bringing gifts to the Lord at Jerusalem and choice presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.” 2 Chronicles 32:23

Lord,

Help me keep all commitments. When I am fatigued, help me stay alert and focused at all times. When I am overwhelmed, help me get enough rest for the challenge at hand.

I want to serve others as best as I can. I want to share all of my gifts with the world.

I will share my talents and skills so others will benefit. I was fearfully and wonderfully made by You so I may serve one day at a time on your behalf.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

His Guidance

“Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name;
And deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name’s sake” Psalm 79:9

“Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.”

2 Chronicles 14:11

“For You are my rock and my fortress;
For Your name’s sake, You will lead me and guide me.” Psalm 31:3

Lord,

it was quite a fast-paced week at work.

Help me slow down, meditate on Your promises and know You are God who is in control.

You are my rock, fortress and the greatest Counselor who leads the way.

Please forgive me if I do not follow Your commands. There is no one besides You.

When I’m distracted, please redirect my focus back to You.

You are my God, let no man prevail against me.

In Jesus’ name, I boldly pray. Amen.

His Joy

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1: 2-4

“…so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold, which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:7

“so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12

“By your endurance, you will gain your lives.” Luke 21:19

Lord,

In life, there are many transitions. Some life-altering moments or life changes are easier than others. While I encounter various trials, I know the testing of my faith produces endurance.

I need Your guidance, comfort, and strength so I may endure the initial stages of the upcoming transition. My faith will be tested, I know.

I will praise and honor You as I adapt to my new lifestyle.

It is so exciting to have your rest. You are right there watching it all and protecting me from any given evil schemes. My desire is to display Your fragrance as I walk into challenging circumstances today.

I’m trusting in You alone, my Rescuer and Refuge.

In Jesus’ name, I courageously pray. Amen.
