“My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalms 73:26 NASB
Father,
A shift in one’s career, finances, lifestyle or even in a daily routine, whether it was planned or not, is laborious to accept at times!
Transitions are quite a challenge the older we get.
If you would ask me, how is the new season going? I would honestly say, “It is going well yet I am worn out with all of the changes I’ve recently experienced”. I even wonder if I made the right decision. “Is it normal to doubt in the midst of life-altering beginning?”
Life changes will undoubtedly stir mixed emotions and ‘letting go’ will bring a sense of loss that needs to be dealt with one day at a time. It is okay to rejoice about opportunities and cry when reminiscing on treasured moments from the past.
Jesus understands. He has wept.
Lord, I’ve been reminiscing about unforgettable moments, and I ’ve been recently melancholic. Help me and settle my heart once and for all! I need a shift in attitude so I can successfully overcome emotional distress. Grant me the courage, inner strength and joy to move forward with the new journey.
You are the strength of my heart when I am weak!
I’m trusting in you, Lord, you are my anchor of Hope. I know there is a purpose behind doubt, loss, and fear. ”The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all” Psalm 34:19 NIV.

I may not like the uncertainties of today’s journey. But, I won’t be discouraged, anxious or distressed.
“Yes, living before your face is my saving grace!” (Psalms 43:5 TPT).
Take this heavy burden ‘off my shoulders’, doubt from my mind, and help me rest at night. Bring me joy in the morning, Lord.
I honor your celestial ways and will serve you faithfully one change at a time.
I know the fascinating works you are masterful of doing. I am trusting you, Lord, in all circumstances whether I like them or not. I know there is purpose in the midst of heartbreak or unexpected loss. I know it will all work out at the end of the day.
I will wait patiently and observe closely how your divine plan unfolds. Just extend grace as I wrap my mind around these difficult circumstances!
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.”
Romans 8:28 TPT
Your unchanging character is the foundation of my Faith.
I don’t need answers to ‘why’ questions but I do need a tight hug from you right now while I weep in love and hope.
I know time is limited on earth. Lord teach me how to live out my Faith fully amidst the sorrow and pain of these startling moments.
You are a revitalizing Godin our defeats, and a festive God in our victories. I’m moving forward one step at a time.
You are my Sunrise who is about to do much more than I can ever envision.
I am giving thanks to God, the Father for everything, and give you all the glory for what you are about to do in my life. (Ephesians5:20 )
“Generation after generation will declare more of your greatness and declare more of your glory.”
Psalms 145:4 TPT
Heavenly Father,
You are our Lord and Savior,
You died at the Cross, forgave those who sinned against you, and resurrected on the third day to offer us eternal life,
You are a Light to those who are blind-folded by temptations and a compass to those who are sleepless in the wilderness,
You march closely with the broken-hearted, heal the wounds from past misfortunes, and revive our souls from shattered dreams,
You relentlessly maneuver the heights of steep mountains and execute magnificent, prized miracles in our ordinary lives!
You are a beacon in the midst of chaos and the matchless hope for today’s helpless world,
You are worthy of praise, Abba Father (Ps 145:3). Your generous hand is filled with promises and your heart sings distinct melodies of joy and hope,
I’m telling the world about all the phenomenal acts you do every day.
You are an amazing God!
Your never-ending grace, unfailing love, and unmerited favor to all generations are the manifestation of your deep love for us.
I want to witness your immeasurable greatness, power and strength in my life today and always.
Since your ‘heart tunes’ are my song of joy and hope (Psalms 59:16), I’m asking for you to always be my refuge and fortress until my last breath on earth!
“For the LORD your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The LORD your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over.” Joshua 4:23 NIV
Lord,
I was recently challenged by ‘Red Sea-like’ circumstances and did not know how to proceed with the complexity of the unforeseen future. You rebuked the Red Sea and dried it up;you saw me through the depths as through a green pasture (Psalms 106:9).
I had exhausted all options and was definitely clueless. There were no workable solutions, fresh ideas or even a contingency plan. I felt vulnerable and hopeless. When I begged for help… “O God, come quickly to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me!” (Psalm 70:1 AMP ), you were already there comforting me. You had noticed my affliction.
Thank You, Jesus!
You strengthened me so I could embrace those overwhelming circumstances, you gave me the wisdom to explore alternate arrangements, and the discernment to navigate thru the decision-making process.

Nothing is impossible for you, Lord(Luke 1:37).
You reassured me along the way,you were taking care of all the details amidst the wait.
You calmed my anxious and fearful heart.
You also…
Helped me surrender all plans.
Helped me trust in the process.
Helped me walk in Faith and not by sight.
When I had intimately prayed, you allowed the circumstances to unfold over the course of time and brought closure this morning when there was a drastic shift in perspective. And, the new plan was confirmed when Your overwhelming peace overruled my heart!
Lord, I appreciate when you speak to me thru the circumstances and people!
Your tender love for me continues on forever and I know that so well. I know you will dry up the Red Sea so I may cross over it once again.

Abba Father,
You are always opening up new frontiers. Iwill relax, be humble and allow you to conquer the world on my behalf (Exodus 14:14). You are in charge of all life happenings (Psalm 46:10).
Forgive me if I attempt to hurry things up. As you know, I am impatient and don’t mind wrestling with you at times! I also know you don’t appreciate when I anticipate or imagine the worst (Matthew 6:25). Forgive me if I have worried way too often in the recent past.
You speak to me in all circumstances.
When an incoming email calms my heart, you reassure me I’m on track… when a photo exhibits a friendship, your heart is on display and I know I’m loved…when a neighbor assists me, your commitment is manifested and I no longer feel helpless…when strangers are kind, I know you deeply care… when I‘m excited about training, I know you want me to grow and reach my potential… when I hear a ‘warning’ from law enforcement, I know you want me to be on alert, on guard and honor your celestial ways on earth.
Lord, I know you are managing all of my affairs relentlessly and faithfully. I truly appreciate how you are orchestrating all life events on my behalf.
Help me ‘be still’ (Psalm 46:10). Your palpable presence is appreciated and I know you are cheering me along the way.
You make everything beautiful in your perfect time(Psalm 18:30). You are an awesome God! I love you with all of my heart, soul, and mind. (Matthew 22:37)
Your beloved and faithful servant.

“I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word, I put my hope.” Psalm 130:5 NIV
Lord,
You are always enlightening me with encouraging thoughts and teachings. I treasure the lessons learned in the midst of irritating trials.
It was rough while I waited for a breakthrough I admit. I wrestled and even questioned your plans. You heard my cries of distress and understood my troubled heart. You even shut quite a few doors along the way. Please, forgive me if I was headstrong.
I thank you today for opening up a new season in life!
Show me ‘how to’ expectantly wait, be willing and open-minded during the wait. Help me grow, Lord, one day at a time.
You inspire my soul and strengthen my heart. You are an unwavering God! Your miraculous plan is valued.
Your servant is listening attentively at sunrise and aligning her perspectives in life with your commands.
Don’t give up. Don’t be impatient. Be brave and courageous. Never lose hope (Psalm 27:14).
It’s bittersweet to let go of a season and begin walking towards a different path.
Give me vitality and stamina to waltz into a new journey and finish strong.
I have been secured in your faithfulness always (Psalm 37:3).
In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Your beloved daughter, Adriana.

No te rindas. No seas inpaciente.

Abba Father,
Life brings unexpected interruptions and it can be stressful at times.
I’m standing firm on your Word.
I continue to meditate on every word you have inscribed in your Holy book.
I love to worship and be in-tuned with your poetic rhythms from the book of Psalms. Your exquisite words are definitely on fire. When I worship, I sing boldly and my heart rejoices. I want to be alive.
Praising Jesus this morning from the bottom of my heart.
When I repent and surrender, you delight in me. Your sacred Word comforts me; I am no longer in distress.
Not only do I want to be strong and courageous in every way (Colossians 2:7), I want the Holy Spirit to be my tour guide as I stroll down the narrow road.
I want to stand on unshakable grounds so I may flourish in all I do.
I want to be blessed and prosperous.
Most importantly, I want your will to be fulfilled not mine. I am no longer pursuing success apart from You, Lord.
I am your beloved and faithful servant and a light to the lost world.
“For it was only through this wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ!” Ephesians 2:8 TPT
I enjoy exchanging gifts at parties. I delight in seasonal wrapping papers and colorful gift bags along with a hand-written note honoring my special guest.
I cherish time spent with family and friends.
Beautifully wrapped presents are memorable, but hand-written notes are treasures inscribed in one’s heart!
All perfect gifts are from above (James 1:17).
There is only one gift that brought me to Christ.
His Grace.

Lord,
When I accepted your grace, my heart and mind were eternally transformed. Your compassion and unmerited favor are the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8).
Thank goodness, I didn’t have to earn Salvation! It was freely given.
Please forgive me if I was stubborn at first, but I was a lost soul. Because of my sinful nature, I disrespected you in so many ways. I was headed to self-destruction. (Proverbs 1:19)
My heart was choked with unforgiveness, anger, resentment, and pride. I was blindfolded by these emotions! The heart is deceitful and cannot be fully trusted (Jeremiah 17:9).
I had accomplished so much in life yet never acknowledged you along the way! I was self-reliant and possibly obsessed with pursuing the ‘American dream’.
Thanks for not giving up on me all of these years.
I now realize how broken I was but you redeemed me and made me whole.
How did I do it?
One winter morning, I repented of my sins, invited you into my heart, surrendered my life at the foot of the Cross, accepted you as my Lord and Savior, and most importantly I walked away from a self-destructive lifestyle and never looked back again!
You delivered me from hell and saved my soul (Psalm 103: 4). I’m a new person in Christ, refreshed and renewed (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I value every reward from above.
How about you my friend? Have you accepted His Grace today?
Your loving presence settles the rhythms of the open sea.
Your promise is a fresh sea breeze to my soul.
Your Word is an anchor to both mind and heart.
Your Holy Spirit teaches me ‘how to’ navigate the journey.
Your Wisdom helps me adjust the sails along the way.

You are a warm-hearted Father whose love never changes or ends.
You hear every beat of my heart!
Open your arms wide open and hold me close to your heart. Don’t ever let me go.
Thank you, Jesus, for being the sunrise of my troubled days.
No troubles, disasters or tragedies in life will separate me from your bountiful love.
“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39 NIV
Your forever travel companion,
in Jesus’ name, I praise.
Amen
